Membership in the Association consists of membership units. To be eligible for membership, one must own property within the area known as Mt. Helen Estates (which includes Cattail Creek Road from 2169 up the mountain including all branching roads), provide contact information and pay annual dues. An member may be an individual, a group of individuals, a family, or a group of families, and becomes a membership unit once dues are paid.

Members owning more than one parcel of property or more than one home within Mt. Helen Estates may obtain a separate membership for each parcel or home owned by paying dues for each additional membership unit. Where a parcel of property or home is shared by more than one individual or family, each individual or family may become a separate membership unit by providing contact information and paying corresponding dues.
